Purpose Beyond Profits
I love the mingling of our built and natural environments!
As an environmental educator, I teach about our interdependent relationship with nature and our connection to plants. They have been in use for thousands of years and are extraordinarily versatile, able to therapeutically affect our bodies and minds to soothe, stimulate, clean, calm, tone and heal as needed.
Over the last 27 years, I've worked with wonderful eco-based organizations including, The New York Botanical Garden, Sustainable South Bronx, the Greystone Foundation, Hudson River Clearwater, CityParks Foundation, the Bronx River Alliance, and the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, to name a few.
- I’m a registered NYC MWBE,
- Dept. of Education Vendor,
- and a nerd for gardens, storm water management and green infrastructure.
